Terms of Service

Welcome to SageRoute, operated by Vignis LLC (the "Service"). By using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

The Service combines personality science (Big Five and interest assessments) with official institution data to provide study-abroad direction exploration, school-selection references, application guidance, and essay coaching. Some features are unlocked by one-time payment, while "Growth Compass: Ten-Year Guided Growth" is an annual subscription.

2. Important disclaimers (please read carefully)

Not a medical or psychological diagnosis: personality assessments are for self-understanding and direction exploration only, and do not constitute medical or mental-health diagnosis or treatment advice.
Not investment, immigration, or legal advice: the Service does not provide personalised investment, immigration, or legal advice. Please independently verify study-abroad decisions and consult appropriate professionals.
Traditional fate-analysis content is cultural narrative only: any statements involving Four Pillars or astrology are only traditional-cultural perspectives for self-understanding, carry zero weight, and are never used to judge the upper limit of your abilities or determine outcomes.
Institution data is for reference and does not promise admission: all pathways, tiers, and thresholds are reference information that change year by year and institution by institution. The applicable official information published by each institution for that year controls; the Service makes no guarantee or promise regarding any admission outcome.
Essay coaching provides annotations only and does not ghostwrite: essay coaching provides only strengths synthesis, main themes, outlines, and annotation-style suggestions. It never ghostwrites, continues, or provides finished drafts that can be pasted directly. Essays must be completed by the student; ghostwriting violates university integrity rules and may lead to revocation of admission. You are responsible for the authenticity of your submitted application materials.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for the authenticity of your information, and must keep your sign-in credentials secure. You must be old enough to use the Service independently where you live, or use it with a guardian's consent and representation. Guided-growth features involving minor children must be operated by a parent or guardian.

4. Payment and unlocking

One-time purchases, such as the talent report, direction and application planning, and application guidance and essay coaching, unlock the corresponding tier listed on the checkout page. Annual guided growth is subscription-based. The price, currency, taxes, renewal period, and items included in this purchase are as shown on the checkout page. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record to process payments, taxes, billing, and refunds; we do not access your full card details. You may cancel future renewals. Refund requests are subject to the Refund Policy.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to bypass or crack paywalls, abuse or use automated means to repeatedly flood interfaces, upload content that infringes another person's privacy or rights, interfere with normal operation of the Service, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual property

We own the relevant rights in the Service's interface, copy, methodology, and generated content, except for materials you enter yourself. You are responsible for content you enter and retain its rights.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service. This does not affect your non-excludable rights under applicable law.

8. Governing law and changes

The formation, validity, interpretation, and dispute resolution of these Terms are governed by the relevant laws of your actual place of residence. The parties will first seek to resolve disputes arising from these Terms through friendly consultation. We may update these Terms, and material changes will be posted on this page.
